Mack and UAW reach tentative agreement

Mack added that further comment about the proposed master contract will be withheld pending ratification votes set for Oct. 14 by the various local bargaining units.

The proposed contract covers members of UAW local #677 in Allentown, Macungie, and Middletown, PA; #171 and #1247 in Hagerstown, MD; #2301 in Baltimore; #5841 in Winnsboro, SC, which Mack parent Volvo Trucks North America announced it will be closing over the next 18 months; and #472 in Atlanta.
