Mooers to head Freightliner's Portland plant

Freightliner LLC has named Brian Mooers GM of the company's Portland, OR, truck manufacturing plant, effective April 1. Mooers is currently Freightliner Group's GM of procurement and supply. Friedrich Baumann will replace him in that capacity. Mooers succeeds Carsten Reinhardt, who was recently named CEO of Detroit Diesel Co., Freightliner's sister company.
