NAL increases rates, appoints new executives

Third party logistics provider North American Logistics (NAL) is increasing its rates 3%. The increase for the NAL's van line network went into effect January 1, and will become effective on March 31 for its logistics network. Also, David Glessner has been named as NAL's vp and chief marketing officer for NAL's Logistics Network Solutions (LNS) Group. His most recently served as division president
Third party logistics provider North American Logistics (NAL) is increasing its rates 3%. The increase for the NAL's van line network went into effect January 1, and will become effective on March 31 for its logistics network.

Also, David Glessner has been named as NAL's vp and chief marketing officer for NAL's Logistics Network Solutions (LNS) Group. His most recently served as division president for U.S. Foodservice.

Ft. Wayne, IN-based NAL also named Doug Christensen as its new vp of supply chain services. His responsibilities include the implementation of integrated logistics operations, freight forwarding operations, project logistics, and fleet services.

Christensen comes from U.S. Freightways, where he served as president of its USF Worldwide Logistics subsidiary.
