TR Information Publishers has announced the release of its 2002 edition ofThe Trucker's Friend – The National Truck Stop Directory. The directory of 6,625 U.S. and Canadian truck stop locations and services, which is also available online, contains more than a half million verified data entries, the publisher said.

Users can find fuel locations and search for the availability of food, lodging, parking, internet connections, vehicle repairs, weigh scales and financial services. The directory lists more than 80 data categories per location.

"We are obsessed with the accuracy of our data," said company president Robert de Vos. "Our customers rely on us to provide highly reliable information. Bad information can be both time-consuming and costly.”
