Emery Worldwide has appointed Bruce Smith, a 14-year veteran of the air cargo industry, as director of automotive for North America. Prior to this appointment, Smith was global account manager for Emery's automotive group.
Based in Romulus, MI, Smith will be responsible for managing the sales efforts of global automotive account managers, coordinating the sales efforts between the North American, European and Asian global auto groups, creating innovative logistics processes for the global auto industry and expanding Emery's presence in emerging markets worldwide.
