P.A.M. Transportation Services Inc. today reported net income of $5,033,512 for the quarter ended June 30 and $8,639,602 for the first six months, which were both significantly higher than last year's results.
Operating revenues of $70,840,825 were reported for the second quarter, a 23.3% increase compared over last year. Operating revenues for the first six months were up 15.8%.
"To say we are very pleased with our second quarter would be an understatement," said president Robert W. Weaver. "We are also glad to see that the truckload industry as a whole has made significant improvements in the second quarter as well. We are optimistic that speaks well for the future."
