PeopleNet names marketing head

Satellite tracking and mobile communications provider PeopleNet has promoted Brian McLaughlin to the newly created position of vp of marketing, in which he will direct PeopleNet’s global marketing strategy.

McLaughlin had been heading up marketing, product development, communications and inside sales programs that have contributed to record growth at PeopleNet. For the past 15 consecutive quarters, the company has reported record sales of its g2x wireless fleet system.

McLaughlin will be charged with synthesizing market requirements into a product development path, defining the company’s marketing communications strategy and building new relationships with other leading transportation service providers.
