The latest addition to Peterbilt Motors' support services is an Internet-based maintenance management system offering small and mid-size fleets a simple way to computerize their maintenance record keeping and reporting.
Part of the company's TruckCare suite of customer services, TruckCare Maintenance Manager gives fleets an online tool to monitor and manage Peterbilt's dealer-based contract maintenance programs, as well as track vehicle service activity in real time. Requiring only an Internet connection and any standard Web browser, the new service also offers a wide range of cost reports, warranty alerts and PM scheduling.
Other TruckCare services include no-cost 24/7 roadside assistance, QuickCare lube and A/C services, pre-paid maintenance programs, automated parts inventory management for fleets, and electronic service documents customized for a fleet's vehicles.
