Qualcomm and Eutelsat reach agreement

Qualcomm Inc. and Eutelsat, a European satellite provider, today announced a five-year agreement to bring fleet management solutions to the European marketplace. Qualcomm Wireless Business Solutions Europe, a wholly owned subsidiary of Qualcomm, will join with Eutalsat to bring the EutelTRACS mobile communications system to Europe's fleet managers. Qualcomm Inc. and Eutelsat, a European satellite provider, today announced a five-year agreement to bring fleet management solutions to the European marketplace. Qualcomm Wireless Business Solutions Europe, a wholly owned subsidiary of Qualcomm, will join with Eutalsat to bring the EutelTRACS mobile communications system to Europe's fleet managers.

EutelTRACS is the European version of Qualcomm Wireless Business Solutions' mobile communications system, OmniTRACS, a satellite-based mobile communications and tracking system that provides real-time messaging and position reporting between fleets and their operations centers.
