San Antonio-based Rush has increased its truck dealer network to 38 locations in eight states with the acquisition of Orange County Truck and Trailers Inc., which operates three dealerships in the central Florida cities of Orlando, Haines City and Tampa.

Rush, which posted revenues of $784.3 million in 2001, said the Orange County dealership group had unaudited revenues of $59.1 million and pre-tax income of approximately $372,000 in the same year.

Chairman & CEO Marvin Rush added that the Orange County acquisition will help his company develop its first "foothold" in the eastern sunbelt state region for Peterbilt truck sales.
