Sanchez will be responsible for growing Miami-based Ryder's global transportation management division, which booked $2.2 billion in business last year. He will report to Gene Tyndall, executive vp of global supply chain solutions. Sanchez has been with the company since 1993.
Vital will report to Corliss Nelson, Ryder's senior executive vp & CFO and is charged with helping refine Ryder's business model and overall IT use. Prior to joining Ryder, Vital was a partner with Accenture, a global consulting firm.
