Sirius completes its service rollout today with the addition of Connecticut, Georgia, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington, California, New Jersey and the greater New York City area.

Beginning with an initial service launch on February 14 in just four metropolitan markets, Sirius progressively turned up its service at scheduled intervals in 37 other states and the District of Columbia between April 1 and June 1.

"The addition of our remaining states begins a new era in broadcast audio entertainment that hasn't seen a change in 40 years," said president & CEO Joseph P. Clayton. "With a huge selection available to cover just about every taste in music, news, sports and entertainment, Sirius is about as close as you can get to personalized audio entertainment from the sky."
