The Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) has selected Christopher W. Burruss to be president, pending approval from the board of directors. The Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) has selected Christopher W. Burruss to be president, pending approval from the board of directors. His position is expected to be ratified in an upcoming meeting on March 14.

Burruss is active in the trucking industry serving on the executive committee and board of directors of the American Trucking Assn., as well as on its Intermodal Committee. He also serves on the Advanced Transportation Research Institute’s Research Advisory Committee and the board of directors of Heavy Vehicle Electronic License Plate Inc. (HELP)

Previously Burruss spent five years as president & CEO of the Tennessee Trucking Assn. From 1991 to 1999 he served as vp of the Missouri Motor Carriers Assn.
