The Transportation Marketing & Communications Association (TMCA) has announced a call for entries for the 52nd annual 2004 Tranny Communications Award Program, which recognizes North American transportation companies that have developed creative, strategic marketing or communications programs.
This year, TMCA has changed the categories of the Tranny Awards Program in order to better reflect the changing marketing and communications tactics available in the industry, according to Cyndi Darlington, senior director of sales and marketing for Amtrak and co-chairperson of the program. The categories for the 2004 Tranny Awards Program are: integrated communications program, single advertisement, advertising campaign, direct marketing campaign, communications collateral, publications, new media, audio visual, special events, and media relations.
Recipients will be honored at TMCA's annual conference and educational forum in May. For details go to www.TMCAtoday.org .
