USCO Logistics has been selected to manage a seasonal overflow program for Home Depot. USCO plans to manage high-demand, oversized products during Home Depot's peak spring selling season via USCO's multi-customer distribution center in Alsip, IL.
The key to the deal, said USCO, is that shipments will move "direct-to-store" without having to go through Home Depot's warehouse network.
Hamden, CT-based USCO is a subsidiary of Kuehne & Nagel International AG, a third party logistics provider based in Switzerland.
