Visteon Corp. said today it will supply DaimlerChrysler's Mercedes-Benz Truck Division with instrument panels, audio systems and cockpits for current and future vehicles. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
"We are very pleased with the growth of our business with DaimlerChrysler. They are driven by advanced technology and first class quality," said Jeremy Goddard, Visteon's program director for DaimlerChrysler. "We provide them with a fine portfolio of leading technologies and the ability to supply these cost-effectively and on a global scale. It's a good fit."
Visteon's relationship with Mercedes-Benz began in March 2000, when it began supplying 24V audio units for the DCX Mercedes-Benz Heavy Truck Division for installation in the Actros and Atego.
