“We will have two very competent, highly motivated people with broad experience of the American truck industry taking charge of our demanding operations in North America,” said Tryggve Sthen, president and CEO of Volvo Truck Corp. “This will be to the benefit of our customers, our dealers and our employees.”

Gigou has been president and CEO of Mack Trucks since 1996. Prior to that, he had a five year stint as managing director of Renault UK.

Vikner joined Mack in 1995 as senior vp-sales and a member of the management team. In 1996 he was appointed executive vp-sales and marketing.
