Xata Corp. said it has seen significant demand for its Xatanet Web-based fleet management system only one month after announcing its 2.0 release. The company said 12 fleets have agreed to purchase and/or pilot the system, including new customers Abernaqui and International Cold Storage.
Xatanet provides trucking operations with an interface to gain complete visibility and control over their mobile assets while it enhances fleet productivity and customer service. Xatanet is further enhanced through low-cost satellite communication that provides anytime, anywhere mobile access, Xata said.
President & CEO Craig Fawcett said Xatanet supports a comprehensive suite of fleet management capabilities via the Internet, including streamlined fuel tax reporting, DOT driver logs, vehicle location tracking, route mapping, vehicle diagnostics and alerts, two-way driver messaging, accident analysis and operational profile reports.
