Yellow subsidiary buys Clicklogistics transportation management system business

Yellow Corp. subsidiary Meridian IQ has acquired selected assets of Clicklogistics Inc. Meridian IQ bought the transportation management system half of Clicklogistics, and Clicklogistics vp marketing Eric Scholar confirmed that the company's 3PL business will also be sold. Yellow Corp. subsidiary Meridian IQ has acquired selected assets of Clicklogistics Inc. Meridian IQ bought the transportation management system half of Clicklogistics, and Clicklogistics vp marketing Eric Scholar confirmed that the company's 3PL business will also be sold.

Meridian IQ will acquire certain material assets, consisting primarily of customer contracts and employees within the Clicklogistics sales, operations and professional services group.

"Both Meridian IQ and Clicklogistics offer technology solutions that address everyday transportation management challenges without the need for a company to make a significant capital investment," said Meridian IQ president & CEO Jim Ritchie. "We have talked with all customers of Clicklogistics and they are excited about the similarities of the business model and the financial stability of Meridian IQ."

Meridian IQ said it will integrate the Clicklogistics customers before the end of 2002.
