Hendrickson International is launching a new stand-alone division to serve the commercial vehicle parts aftermarket.

Named Hendrickson Parts North America, the new division will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to expand Hendrickson’s participation in the original equipment market and independent channels of parts distribution in North America, said John Walker, president & CEO of the Boler Company, which owns Hendrickson.

Paul LaMantia will be the gm of Hendrickson’s new aftermarket division, which will be headquartered in Woodridge, IL. LaMantia will lead a separate management team focused on the truck, trailer, auxiliary axle and steel spring aftermarket.

Walker said Hendrickson’s new aftermarket division should be fully operational by January 2007 and that LaMantia, employed with Hendrickson since 1999, will report directly to Keith Stephenson, chief development officer for the Boler Company and president of international operations for Hendrickson.
