Freight and reefer van manufacturer Hyundai Translead has opened a new 161,720 sq.-ft. production line at its Tijuana, Mexico manufacturing facility.

This $15.5-million dollar expansion includes some “unique and innovative” tooling that will boost production capacity for vans and domestic containers by 30%, said the company.

Hyundai Translead expects the production line to reach full capacity by the end of June.
