Rand McNally has announced its Intelliroute routing and mileage trucking software has been expanded to provide more construction updates twice a month.
Roadwork alerts are displayed on route itineraries and provide duration and type of construction for each location. Intelliroute highlights the quickest and lowest-cost routing options, Rand McNally said.
The improved construction update feature is available to new and existing users to download at no extra cost.
“More frequent roadwork updates can prevent late delivery penalties, save money on fuel and help drivers comply with hours-of-service regulations,” said Robert Apatoff, president & CEO of Rand McNally.
