International taps new CFO

Bill Caton is on track to become the new chief financial officer (CFO) for Navistar International Corp., the holding company for Warrenville, IL-based truck maker International Truck & Engine Corp

Bill Caton is on track to become the new chief financial officer (CFO) for Navistar International Corp., the holding company for Warrenville, IL-based truck maker International Truck & Engine Corp., upon the filing of the company’s 2005 10-K financial statements.

Caton most recently served as vp & CFO of Dover Diversified, Inc., a subsidiary of Dover Corp., an industrial manufacturing company. He joins Navistar on Oct. 31 and succeeds Robert Lannert, who leaves his CFO post but plans to stay with Navistar as vice chairman, advising Daniel Ustian, Navistar’s chairman, president & CEO as well as the company’s board of directors on strategic programs and planning.
