Kenworth Truck Co. has announced that the Bendix ABS-6 System is now standard on Kenworth Class 8 trucks with air brake systems.

By making the Bendix system standard, Kenworth is now able to offer Bendix ABS-6 Advanced with ESP as an option on selected Kenworth T600, T800 and W900 tractor configurations.

The Bendix ABS-6 Advanced with ESP option detects stability problems and actively applies tractor and trailer brakes and de-throttles the engine to help control the vehicle in a jackknife condition, according to Bendix.
