Trucosting available as option with Loadmaster

TruCosting, an application designed to help fleets quickly determine the profitability of rates and pricing, is now available as an option with McLeod Software’s LoadMaster fleet management system.

Developed by TruCost Systems, the profitability application calculates route efficiency based on an individual truck’s expenses, measuring variable expenses by the mile and allocating fixed expenses based on the time required to move the load. It can be used to examine pricing profitability, to compare the cost of company-owned and contractor trucks, and to forecast the cost effects of time and distance.

Adding TruCosting to their fleet management system will help fleets “make better-informed dispatch decisions and increase overall truck productivity,” according to TruCost co-founder Martin Labbe.
