Mitchell 1, a provider of technical information for vehicle maintenance and repair, has announced that technicians competing in the trucking industry's National Technician Skills Competition, will be using the company's Tractor-Trailer.net at the service information station

Mitchell 1, a provider of technical information for vehicle maintenance and repair, has announced that technicians competing in the trucking industry's National Technician Skills Competition, will be using the company's Tractor-Trailer.net at the service information station.

The Mitchell 1 station will be one of 10 Skills Challenge stations covering a variety of diagnostic skills areas. The service information station is used to demonstrate the technicians' ability to retrieve service information from industry sources. Tractor-Trailer.net is a web-based complete service and repair information source for all heavy-duty tractors, dry vans and reefers dating back to 1990.

The National Technician Skills Competition is supported by the Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC) of American Trucking Assns. and will be held in Austin, TX on Sept. 18-20.
