Networkcar gets government contract

Networkcar lands contract with U.S. General Services Administration

Networkcar, a Reynolds and Reynolds company that provides GPS vehicle-tracking systems, today announced it has been awarded a contract with the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA).

Under the contract, federal, state and local agencies are able to purchase Networkcar’s products at negotiated rates. Networkcar expects its Networkfleet service will be implemented on government and military fleets.

Networkfleet compiles data based on a vehicle’s engine computer and GPS. The information is designed to help fleet operators reduce operating costs and improve productivity, the company said.

“The U.S. Marine Corps is currently using Networkfleet at various fleet locations across the country and this GSA contract will simplify the procurement process for additional locations requesting our technology,” said Dave Dutch, Networkcar president.
