Chevron Delo 400 meets new spec

The heavy-duty Chevron Delo 400 Multigrade SAE 15W-40 engine oil now meets the new European ACEA E7-04 specification, a new performance standard that incorporates both severe 90-cycle shear stability test requirements and the Mack T10 engine test, according to ChevronTexaco Products Co.

The new Euro oil spec replaces the ACEA E5-02 and is intended for oils used in heavy-duty diesel engines with EGR and selective catalyst reduction (SCR) systems for reducing particulate and NOx emissions.

Chevron Delo 400 Multigrade also meets ZF TE-ML 04C and TE-ML 07C for marine diesels and transmissions.
