Pressure Systems International (PSI) today announced that industry tire expert Al Cohn will fill the company’s newly-created post of director of new market development and engineering support, effective Feb. 1.

Cohn has previously served Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. for 28 years with a track record of shaping industry protocol relating to tire development, use and wear, PSI said. Cohn is active participant in industry organizations, and was also awarded the Silver Spark Plug designation by the American Trucking Assns.’s Technology and Maintenance Council.

“We are especially pleased that Al has agreed to join our team,” said Tim Musgrave, PSI president. “Having him with us will give PSI even more of a knowledge of how proper tire inflation systems affects tire wear, fuel economy and overall cost per mile for trucking fleets and will help us provide solutions to worldwide markets.”
