Ruan adds two executives

Contract logistics provider Ruan has made two new appointments to its executive team: Jim Mulvenna as director of training and Chad Willis as director of brokerage and network operations.

Mulvenna, who will be based out of Ruan’s Des Moines, IA, headquarters, will apply his experience from a 25-year career in the U.S. Army to directing Ruan’s training programs. Mulvenna recently completing a tour of duty in Iraq as chief of staff of the Coalition Military Assistance Training Team, which is charged with establishing, equipping, and training the Iraqi Armed Forces.

Willis, based in Ruan’s Brooklyn Park, MN, consolidation and distribution center, will be charged with growing and developing brokerage operations and customer collaboration opportunities. He spent ten years with truckload carrier Transport Corporation of America in various operations and marketing positions and also spent three years with North Star Transport, Inc. in the IT and marketing departments.
