Saia splits sales management

LTL carrier Saia, based in Duluth, GA, has restructured its sales and operations management into East-West arrangements with four vice presidents “to support record growth,” said Rick O’Dell, president & CEO

LTL carrier Saia, based in Duluth, GA, has restructured its sales and operations management into East-West arrangements with four vice presidents “to support record growth,” said Rick O’Dell, president & CEO. All four will report to Tony Albanese, senior vp of operations and sales.

Dave Letke will serve as vp of operations - East. Letke joins Saia from SCS Transportation, where he served as vp of operations planning since 2000.

Larry Mohr has been named vp of sales- East. Mohr joined Saia in 2002 as regional sales manager for the Houston region.

Brian Balius has been named vp of operations- West. Balius has served as vp of operations for Saia since 2004.

Mark Hamblin has been named vp of sales - West. Hamblin became part of the Saia team during its integration with WestEx in 2001.

Separate from sales and operations, Pat Coombs was promoted to vp of revenue management. Coombs has been with Saia since 1998 as the director of revenue management.
