Siricomm, TruckersB2B join forces

Joplin, MO-based wireless network provider Siricomm is joining forces with Indianapolis-based buying cooperative TruckersB2B to provide wireless internet access for TruckersB2B member fleets.

With this agreement, over 19,500 TruckersB2B member fleets representing over 445,000 drivers get access to Siricomm’s InTouch wireless service at a discounted member rate, the company said. David Mendez, executive vice president of sales for Siricomm, added that it expects the TruckersB2B program to achieve significant penetration of the small to medium-sized trucking company market.

“The over-the-road trucking market is highly fragmented and is largely composed of thousands of small fleets with twenty-five or fewer drivers,” he noted. “Inclusion in this program is the most efficient manner for Siricomm to extend its sales reach into the small to medium-sized fleet market.”
