SKF has introduced an incentive-based training program for heavy-duty fleet technicians

SKF has introduced an incentive-based training program for heavy-duty fleet technicians. The Heavy-Duty Pit Crew program provides fleet technicians with the latest technical information through newsletters, product self-study guides, and technical manuals.

Program members are also given access to downloadable reference material and technical data.

“The Heavy-Duty Pit Crew program is designed to increase the profitability and uptime of fleets,” said Per Jacobsson, director of marketing communications. “Our continuing engineering endeavors combined with our technical partnership with Richard Childress Racing allows us to research and develop new products and technologies, and in turn pass that data onto technicians across various industries around the world.”

Members also may redeem qualifying SKF product bar codes for a chance to become an honorary pit crew member for the No. 31, No, 29 or No. 07 Richard Childress Racing Nascar Nextel Cup Team.
