Lake Forest, IL-based truck and car component maker Tenneco has promoted Kenneth Trammell from senior to executive vp at the company, though he retains his position as the firm’s CFO.
As CFO, Trammell is responsible for Tenneco’s finance strategy, financial planning and analysis, accounting, tax, treasury and investor relations. He serves as a member of the senior management team and reports directly to chairman & CEO Mark Frissora.
Trammell has been serving as Tenneco’s CFO since September 2003. Prior to his current role, he was vp and controller, a position he had held since November 1999 when Tenneco became a stand-alone automotive supply company. Before joining Tenneco, Trammell worked at Arthur Andersen LLP for 12 years where he was responsible for audits and consultation on mergers, acquisitions and divestitures for the firm's corporate clients.
