Plano, TX-based third party logistics provider Transplace is hiring Kevin Higgins as vp for international logistics.
Higgins’ experience includes more than a decade of service at Wal-Mart, with stints as director of global transportation, director of grocery fleet/regional transportation and director of the office of regulatory compliance. He also served as founder & COO of American World Alliance, a 3PL established to manage international freight.
Based out of Transplace’s Lowell, AR, operations center, Higgins is going to work closely with chairman & CEO Jun-Sheng Li in efforts to expand the company’s logistics foothold in the Chinese market and other regions of Asia.
