The Virginia DOT (VDOT) has announced that from May 3 through 5 traffic on I-95 lanes in both directions near Fredericksburg, VA, will be stopped approximately four times in 10 min. intervals between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. due to construction crews working on the Cowan Boulevard Bridge

The Virginia DOT (VDOT) has announced that from May 3 through 5 traffic on I-95 lanes in both directions near Fredericksburg, VA, will be stopped approximately four times in 10 min. intervals between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. due to construction crews working on the Cowan Boulevard Bridge.

U.S. Route 1 is suggested as an alternate route.

On the days noted, the bridge work will begin at 10 p.m. in the northbound lanes and switch to the southbound lanes with all lanes open to traffic not later than 4:00 a.m., VDOT said.
