AB Volvo Posts Strong Shipments

AB Volvo deliveries in November

AB Volvo said total deliveries for the Volvo Group [Volvo, Mack and Renault] was 172,653 through November. This represents a 24% increase, compared to the same period last year.

Global Volvo Trucks deliveries through November increased 28% year-over-year to 86,810 units. North American deliveries soared 51% to 23,434 units.

Worldwide Mack deliveries showed considerable improvement over the January-November period, increasing 33% over the same period last year to 22,801 units. North American deliveries topped 20,630 units— which also reflects a 33% year-over-year increase.

Volvo noted deliveries are the number of trucks that get transferred either to dealers or directory, and do not represent retail sales.
