Cold chain solutions company spotlights solutions, including new TerraTemp, GlacierTemp and CuraTemp packaging sub-brands

Pelton Shepherd, a cold chain solutions company, recently revealed a new website and updated brand to call attention to its temperature-sensitive packaging solutions for the perishables and life sciences sectors.

With six manufacturing facilities and a national network of more than 70 cold storage facilities, Pelton Shepherd says it continues to build on its seven decades of success as a leader in solution-driven products, expertise and agility in a rapidly changing world.

“As a third-generation family operated business, we’re proud of our legacy of success as a solutions-driven cold-chain company and excited to unveil our new contemporary brand and website,” said Tim Shepherd, CEO of Pelton Shepherd. “Through the unparalleled service we provide and quality products we offer, we are continuing to expand our customer base in the perishables and life sciences sectors.”

In addition to its new website and brand, Pelton Shepherd has responded to the evolving needs of its customers by streamlining the ease of its partnerships and introducing three new sub brands, TerraTemp, GlacierTemp, and CuraTemp, each of which is designed to address specific customer needs.

  • TerraTemp: Trusted when sustainability matters, TerraTemp products feature innovations in energy efficiency, environmental safety and recyclability. This line includes Enviro Ice, which features a drain safe formula that can be used as plant food. Enviro Ice is also available in a -12°C formula that can serve as a safe alternative to dry ice.
  • GlacierTemp: Trusted when cold matters, the GlacierTemp line of cold packs and foam bricks offers a range of price points and specialty features for cold chain shipping needs that require +30°F.
  • CuraTemp: Trusted when accuracy matters, CuraTemp products are specially formulated to maintain precise eutectic points and ensure accurate control for products that require specific temperature excursions.

“Whether you’re a new customer, established partner or the consumer at the end of the ice pack’s journey, our goal is to ensure that your products arrive safely and at the correct temperature for the application you require,” Shepherd said.
