Bergstrom giving away vacations to a lucky NITE purchaser, dealer

June 11, 2012

Bergstrom is giving away two destination vacations, one to a customer and one to a dealer, who purchases a NITE no-idle system with a Webasto air heater between now and Aug. 17, 2012. To register for the prize opportunity, visit www.bergstrominc.com/vacation for rules and complete entry information.

The winner will be drawn the final day of the Great American Truck Show in Dallas, TX, on Aug. 25, 2012.

Bergstrom and Webasto Product North America last year announced that the NITE system is available with a Webasto Air Top 2000 ST auxiliary heater.

“The Webasto Air Top 2000 ST is a proven, reliable heater that responds to industry demands for fuel efficiency, A/C and heat combos, and fast return on investment,” said Bill Gordon, Bergstrom vice president of sales, aftermarket, and NITE. “This pairing is ‘just right’ in terms of all-season performance and value for NITE system customers. We are pleased to add the Webasto heater to our excellent line of partner products.”

The NITE system incorporates an independent battery source to provide electric power. The Air Top 2000 ST produces 7,000 Btu and can operate for 20 hours on a single gallon of fuel. It weighs 5.7 lbs., the lightest auxiliary heater in its class, Bergstrom said, adding that the packaging the two systems together delivers the convenience of managing heating and cooling with one integrated set of controls.

“This is a great opportunity for Bergstrom and Webasto to leverage our recognized strengths and give truck owners and truck drivers an efficient, effective combination of no-idle heating and cooling,” said Mark Hickey, vice president of business development at Webasto.
