EVO Trillium has opened a new compressed natural gas fueling station in Tolleson, AZ, to serve vehicles from Swift Transportation and Sheehy Express. The station will also be open 24 hours a day to the public.
“EVO CNG is extremely excited about the opportunity to work with Swift Transportation and Sheehy Express in their efforts to become clean fleets,” said Danny Cuzick, president of EVO CNG. “We recognize its pioneering efforts in the field of alternative fuels and look forward to working with Trillium, Swift and Sheehy in their clean fuel endeavors.”
EVO Trillium is a joint venture between EVO CNG and Trillium CNG.
The station features four dual hose dispensers with NGV-1 and T-5000 nozzles and features Trillium CNG’s proprietary fast-fill hydraulic intensifier compressor. The station has been designed to accommodate Class 8 tractors and trailers, as well as smaller vehicles.
“We are pleased that EVO Trillium has built a CNG station near our main terminal facilities in Phoenix. We plan to fuel a significant number of trucks at this location,” said Jerry Moyes, CEO of Swift Transportation. “The environmental advantages, as well as significant economic savings that come with natural gas powered trucks, contribute to cleaner air, improving customer satisfaction and a stronger corporate bottom line.”
