WINDSOR, CT. Travelers recently held its Third Annual Safety Symposium at its Claim University in Windsor, Conn. During the event, transportation and insurance experts focused on human risk factors and their correlation with vehicle safety.The insurance company offered tours through its three training labs – heavy equipment and vehicle lab, auto lab, and home claims lab. The heavy equipment and vehicle lab is filled with various heavy-duty tractors and equipment that have been damaged in actual accidents. Travelers buys the vehicles, which have been declared total losses, from its customers and uses them as training tools for their employees.
