AKTV8, a fleet tech company, recently released PressureTech, a configurable platform combining tire pressure, suspension pressure, and load monitoring into a single telematics-ready system for commercial trucks and other aftermarkets.

PressureTech can be used as a stand-alone system with AKTV8’s mobile app to configure multiple vehicles and trailers and set separate alerts for each or in combination with the AKTV8 iAir range extender and telematics gateway to unlock even more features. The system’s features for heavy trucks include an at-a-glance “Drive Mode” and the ability to share vehicle profiles and settings along with full TPMS and load data across users. Similarly, the PressureTech onboard scale system accommodates lift-axles and Frost Law adjustments.

“AKTV8 is committed to discovering and creating intelligent, made-easy technologies that increase safety, productivity, and performance of commercial trucks, recreational vehicles, and beyond,” said Josh Coombs, co-founder and CTO at AKTV8. “That’s why we’re excited to make a lightweight, easy-to-use pressure-sensing solution like PressureTech available to more customers in more markets.”

PressureTech sensors are designed and tested to OEM and heavy-truck standards. Each sensor includes a laser-etched QR code on the cap for users to scan via AKTV8’s custom mobile app, making it easy to configure multiple vehicles and trailers. Available in both cap style and inflate-thru style, PressureTech TPMS sensors are easy to set up, lightweight, and robust with conformal coated electronics and a serviceable battery to last the life of the vehicle. PressureTech kits are now available through Amazon and other fleet distributors.

AKTV8 will exhibit its new PressureTech platform this week at the Mid-America Trucking Show, March 21-23, in Louisville, Kentucky, with live demos in booth No. 17096.
