Dispatcher, distribution center support added to proof-of-delivery solution

Jump Technologies (JumpTech) has added support for dispatchers and distribution centers to its cloud-based proof-of-delivery solution, JumpTrack.

To make the application cost-effective, JumpTrack utilizes devices like smartphones and tablets, virtually eliminating IT costs as well as expensive ruggedized handsets, the company said.

The new enhancements will make the solution more efficient for fleets of all sizes to track routes and drivers by giving the ability to quickly search, edit and assign drivers to distribution centers, provide quick uploads for easy driver, regional, and distribution route setup, and permit drivers and distribution centers to search and view routes on the mobile client.

“We worked closely with customers to understand what was important to them and implement meaningful upgrades to our service.  We are always reviewing ways to improve – it’s just who we are,” said John Freund, president and CEO.
