Diversified fleet chooses Transflo Mobile

Feb. 5, 2014

Fraley and Schilling, a Rushville, IN-based carrier, has implemented Transflo Mobile from Pegasus TransTech to assist drivers in submitting documents quickly and remotely.

Fraley and Schilling operates 435 power units and eight terminal locations in the eastern half of the United States, offering a variety of services including dry van, dry bulk tanker, warehousing and third party logistics.

Chip West, vice president, said that getting paper proof-of-delivery documents to the office to complete billing and payroll process has been a nuisance for some time, becoming even more complicated as the company grew.

“The more paperwork you have, the greater the chances are that you will lose it,” he said. “Transflo Mobile is another easy and convenient way to take care of paperwork. Drivers use it a lot. Overall it has been great.”

Transflo Express truck stop scanning is available at over 950 locations throughout the U.S. and Canada. Drivers simply hand their documents to a trained cashier at the fuel counter for scanning. In seconds, the documents are sent electronically to the fleet for immediate billing and payroll processing.

Transflo Mobile give drivers the option to submit documents instantly from inside or outside of the cab. Drivers can download Transflo Mobile for free on their Apple or Android devices. As an enterprise-grade app, Transflo Mobile has built-in features to ensure that the quality of images remains consistently high. It instantly detects any defects with an image and will immediately notify the driver to retake an image, if necessary, prior to submission. The app also uses compression techniques that maintain the quality of images while reducing their size.
