European telematics provider making inroads into North America

Feb. 4, 2013

Isotrak, a global provider of telematics and GPS vehicle tracking solutions, is in the installation phase of a project with a major Canadian retailer as part of its attempts to secure market share in North America.

Isotrak has been in “soft launch” mode in North America since January 2012, it said. Founded in the UK over 15 years ago, the company’s products provide “a new standard for how a fleet logistics and telematics company interprets, measures and delivers the data for its clients. As target KPI’s and ROI are met and exceeded, customers turn into long-term relationships.”

“Once we engage with a customer, it becomes an in-depth process of involvement and performance analysis,” said Alex Ognjanac, vice president of sales and marketing. “We take our customers on a journey and ensure they arrive where they are expected to. We anticipate this winning formula will position us to eventually lead the North American market.”

Isotrak said its target market segments range from transportation and distribution all the way into the public sector, with Isotrak supporting two of the United Kingdom’s post office services.

The company’s ATMsi product offerings measure critical data in real time, deliver and customize it for customers. According to Isotrak, a UK customer saw a 23% savings in fuel costs and a 6.6% overall transportation efficiency improvement by utilizing its services.
