Aug. 1, 2013

William Taylor, founding editor of Fast Company and author of Practically Radical: Not-So-Crazy Ways to Transform Your Company, Shake Up Your Industry, and Challenge Yourself, will be the featured speaker at the upcomingPeopleNet user conference.

This year’s user conference will be held in San Antonio at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa, August 19-22.

“Having shook up the business magazine world with a magazine that focused on innovators and disruptors who were reinventing their industries, Mr. Taylor is a perfect choice for addressing our customers, trucking industry leaders with foresight and passion for adopting tools that drive their businesses forward,” said PeopleNet president Brian McLaughlin.

“Uncertainty and change are inevitable for all industries,” he continued. “The regulatory, environmental, and safety issues facing fleet owners and managers require a Taylor-like grasp of successful transformation. He will apply the themes in Practically Radical to implementing a change agenda for the trucking industry.”

The conference will feature more than 40 education sessions, including roundtable discussions and presentations by customers who have successfully optimized efficiencies, increased safety and compliance, and enhanced customer service using PeopleNet products and services.

The last day to register is Aug. 9. More information about “Performance Rides Onward” is available at www.peoplenetuserconference.com.
