Softeon announces the selection of its integrated supply chain solution suite, comprising modules – Warehouse Management, Route Accounting System and Mobile solutions for sales and direct stores delivery – by Hensley Beverage Company."A Warehouse Management System coupled with operational process improvements was identified as one of our biggest opportunities for productivity improvement,” said Tony Keffer, vice president, operations. “We reached out to several distributor sites on best practices during our WMS selection process. We came away very impressed with the productivity improvements the Softeon system was helping these businesses deliver on a daily basis, including wholesaler operations comparable with our size and scale. We wanted improved inventory control and reporting, warehouse mapping, integration to suppliers' shipping and invoicing system voice pick and real time performance metrics. Softeon's Warehouse Management System is expected to meet all of those business needs today."According to the company, the system provides real-time visibility across the entire supply chain, over the web and through performance dashboards."The system is very powerful, easily configurable and rapidly deployable, and is consistently providing quick gains across the board, thus making it a hallmark solution for beverage distribution," said Gana Govind, president of Softeon. "We are pleased to have Hensley Beverage Company as a new addition to our Anheuser Busch Inbev wholesaler customer base."Omar Perez, controller at Hensley Beverage Company, said: "We have found the Softeon Route Accounting system allows for very detailed configuration changes to be made and delivered quickly using a rules based approach. It provides us with a seamless platform approach for all enterprise functions – transactions flowing from DSD and the WMS to fulfill order-to-cash, purchase-to-pay, inventory, sales, general ledger and business analytics functions.”
