LoJack Corporation, a provider of vehicle theft-recovery and fleet-management solutions, has appointed Joe Castelli as vice president, Fleet & Commercial Operations. The company said Castelli will focus on continuing to grow LoJack’s commercial-equipment and fleet-management business.

Castelli, who has 30 years of automotive, fleet and commercial sales experience with global companies, brands and markets, previously was vice president, Commercial Vehicles & Fleet, for Nissan North America, Inc. While with Nissan, he is credited with establishing and leading the OEM’s fleet business, consistently growing market share and profits.

Before joining Nissan, Castelli spent more than 23 years at Ford Motor Co. During his tenure, he was responsible for expanding Ford’s market share of Class 2-7 vehicles to 41% of the total commercial industry category

“Joe will bring a tremendous amount of experience and wisdom to the LoJack executive team– specifically our emergent commercial equipment and fleet management business,” said LoJack CEO & president Randy Ortiz.

“The addition of an executive leader of Joe’s caliber and record of success is further proof of LoJack’s dedication to delivering the best products and solutions for our rapidly expanding commercial and fleet customer base,” Ortiz added.

Castelli holds a bachelor's degree in finance and a master's in business administration from Creighton University in Omaha.
