GammaTech has unveiled the latest notebook computer in its rugged Durabook line. The SA14 includes a 14 in. HD display, long battery life, and wireless connectivity.
A choice of Intel Core i5-3360M or Core i7-3520M processors is available. There is also a choice of mobile Intel Express chipsets, either QM77 or HM76. Both provide integrated USB 3.0 protocol on a single-chip architecture, GammaTech said.

It continues GammaTech’s heritage of offering the best overall value in rugged and fully rugged notebooks and tablets for mobile users.”
It is integrated with a Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi Link 6235 series combo, as well as Intel mini-express Wireless LAN 802.1. Optional choices include GPS support and WWAN module.
The SA14 comes standard with a 9-cell Lithium Ion Smart Battery pack, and when combined with the optional secondary 6-cell Lithium Ion Smart Battery, the unit can function for up to 11 hours.
TPM 1.2 data security technology, a Kensington lock connector, Computrace asset management and data protection, and a fingerprint scanner are also included. A SmartCard reader is available.
