Noregon, Power Solutions International partner on diagnostics for PSI-powered vehicles

Noregon Systems, a provider of commercial-vehicle diagnostic systems has announced it is partnering with Power Solutions International, Inc. (PSI), a designer/manufacturer of alt-fuel power systems, to develop a new diagnostic application called PSI PowerLink.

According to Noregaon, PSI Powerlink will be “a diagnostic software program designed for PSI’s power systems to quickly and easily perform total vehicle diagnostics to ensure comprehensive diagnostic routines on any PSI-powered vehicle.”

The company said the signed partnership agreement also includes the future development of in-shop diagnostic tools and ECU reflash and calibration tools along with end-of-line programming solutions. 

“PSI is a prime example of how we continue to add to our portfolio of OEM customers,” said Greg Reimmuth, senior vp of sales & mMarketing for Noregon.  “PSI shares our dedication to the development of innovative, industry-leading solutions.

“PSI PowerLink customers will have the ability to get the kind of diagnostic information that is needed to continually and consistently keep power systems running at their maximum performance,” he added.

Noregon said that the first PSI PowerLink software is planned for release in Q1 or Q2 of 2015 and that initial development and testing will begin in 2014.
